MESSAGE TO OUR KICKSTARTER SUPPORTERS

Kairo Entertainment Studios and CEO Reggie Byers extends its sincerest apologies to the backers of the SHURIKEN Kickstarter. Due to inaccurate financial estimates

for shipping, unforseen circumstances and numerous challenges, we have not completed

our reward fulfillments to our backers.

We are committed to complete all fulfillments no later than May 19th, 2024.

The first issue of Shuriken will be made available to a host of waiting fans and retailers

only after every Kickstarter supporter has received their rewards later this spring.

We thank you and appreciate your endless patience and know that YOU all are our core

supporters for the life of this brand that began in 1985.

SHURIKEN unfolds the tale of Kyoko Shidara, a skilled Japanese bodyguard and fighter employed by an assassin agency that targets other killers. Despite never having taken a life, Kyoko anticipates her boss assigning such a task soon.

Originally created in 1985 by Reggie Byers, SHURIKEN became one of the top-selling black & white independently published comics in the 1980's.

In 2021, Byers revived the character, launching an entirely new SHURIKEN series for a new generation to enjoy.
